Paul | Support Technician

Paul is a proud graduate of both Worcester State University and the University of Connecticut. While studying for his MA in English Literature at UConn, Paul became interested in technology while creating an annotated version of a poem (The Kingfishers) by Charles Olson using HTML. After graduation, he would go on to obtain a certificate in UNIX/C++ programming from WPI which eventually led to an entry level position at Elcom International as an EDI operator and developer.

Having a Massachusetts teaching license in Secondary English Language Arts, Paul eventually moved on from Elcom International taking a position at Worcester Public Schools as a technology specialist for the Special Education department where he spent 10 years with the district in charge of deploying, maintaining, and teaching specialized hardware and software solutions for the visually impaired. During this time, Paul obtained a second MA teaching license in Instructional Technology. Due to shifting needs in the district, Paul was asked to take on a leadership role within the Special Education department as a department head for the Home and Hospital Department where he spent another 10 years guiding a team of teachers providing academic instruction to students unable to attend school for medical and disciplinary reasons.

In his spare time Paul enjoys online gaming, golfing badly with his son and friends, metal detecting, and fishing with his daughter.
